Nuevo disco "Mirando p'l Este"

Everything in life comes to an end and eventually Radio Tarifa succumbed to its own gale-force winds, in spite of their great success.

That was the moment of a new solo adventure for Benjamín, so he embraced the project of his first solo album “Alevanta” ,title inspired in the local colloquialism meaning “get up!”which his father used to use to wake him up in the mornings. It´s been a long time since Benjamin is “up” as one of the most interesting artists of Spanish cult music .

With this new release, “Mirando pa´l este” ,a real gift for those who admire him, he has tresspased the frame of his own sensitivity , searching for the songs into the depth of his heart , mingling the essence of the arabic- andalusian music with popular folk and spreading them with his unique, intimate voice which makes us travel along and through all cultures.

 

Todo en la vida parece tener un final y Radio Tarifa sucumbio a sus propios vientos huracanados,a pesar de sus triunfos.

Era el momento de la aventura en solitario y Benjamin se lanzo a editar su primer disco,”Alevanta”,titulo inspirado en esa frase popular que su padre le trasladaba a primeras horas de la mañana.Benjamin hace ya muchos años que se ha levantado como una de las figuras mas interesantes de la musica de culto en España.
